Use the right tense (present perfect or past simple) for the verbs in brackets.

Simon: Jane, _____ you (see) my book anywhere ?

Jane: yes, I ______.

Simon: So where is it ?

Jane: The last time I _____ (see) it, it _____ (be) on the kitchen table.

Simon: I _____ just (check) there, but it _____ (be) not on the kitchen table !

Jane: Then I have no idea where it is.
